NARMS Today IFBA Division Articles

2006_Q4: iFBA Update

Holiday greetings to all NARMS and IFBA Division members! As the year 2006 winds down, the IFBA Division of NARMS is proud to report 14 new members to date with more on the way. We say that with some confidence as we watch some past association viability changes happen north of the border and our recent increase of four new Canadian food broker members could easily double itself again over coming months. We know that with diligent effort by members and staff, IFBA could conceivably double its membership base over the coming months/years.

NARMS recently exhibited at the Grocery Innovations – Canada Show in late October in Toronto, advancing the NARMS and IFBA causes and sharing word of member benefits to many of our retail support brethren in that vast country. NARMS is also seeking creative ways to speed up the momentum in the Canadian market for use of NARMS' JobBank, Career Connection and The Recruiter web services.
We've had several interesting developments as an IFBA track has been added for the first time at next year's NARMS Spring Conference in Tucson, AZ. Atul Parvatiyar of the Institute for Customer Relationship will present on GMA's recent "Value of O . . . .
